The National Government gave the green light to Barranquilla for the reactivation of nearly 40,000 independent workers, informal and microentrepreneurs of the city prior to counseling so that they can return to work.
The training that these sectors will receive is aimed at the skills for the sustainability of companies and business, and open and collaborative innovation.

“There will be more than 20 subsectors more related to the day to day of the citizen, whom we will help in the design and implementation of biosafety protocols adapted to their context. For this, we will have the academic support and scientific rigor of a great ally such as the Universidad Simón Bolívar ”, assured the mayor Pumarejo.
These sectors will be accompanied by a team of experts in business growth and innovation that has been working since 2016 with the Mayor of Barranquilla.
In addition, specialized advice will be provided to solve problems specific to each sector; routes for generating business models, and other tools and open calls to contribute to crisis management.
