Banking Nature movie at Home Festiver

El Espectador and the Barichara Film Festival give you the chance to watch this French film until May 1 at 7:59 p.m., which narrates the negative and positive impact of the new environmental markets.

From April 30 to May 11 The viewer broadcasts on its website Festiver at Home, a selection of films that have been shown in the Barichara Film Festival (Festiver) and whose main objective is to allow the audience to connect with the environment and rethink the way in which they live and become part of the pose, something very important in this time of quarantine. The broadcast begins this April 30 at 8 p.m. (and even the pMay 1st at 7:59 p.m.) with “Banking Nature“, of the directors Denis Delestrac and Sandrine Feydel. Delestrac is recognized for his research documentaries that are focused on the ecological, social, and political impact of natural resources.

The film narrates the commercialization of nature today. We are at a time where protecting our planet has become big business for some companies, promoting new environmental markets. This has generated a new type of commercialization: that of endangered species. What guarantees do we have that our natural heritage will be protected? And should our ecological heritage be for sale?
