Through a statement, Bancolombia announced that it has a total of 17.4 trillion pesos of approved quotas for 293 thousand small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and independent businesses in the country.
Clients who wish to access these resources for payment of payroll and working capital, They may do so according to the terms established by the National Guarantee Fund.
“We are inviting SMEs, businesses and freelancers to use this line to secure employment and pay their payroll, this must be a priority (…) the term is up to 36 months and the rate from 7.66% effective annual ”, he explained Cristina Arrastía, VP of Business of Bancolombia.

The company noted that this decision is made taking into account that SMEs generate “80% of employment and that companies have various needs to continue operating in the midst of this situation.”
