The eleven destinations are Armenia, Corozal, Barrancabermeja, Yopal, Florencia, Ibagué, Manizales, Neiva, Popayán, Riohacha and Villavicencio. These cities are added to those that were already operating in San Andrés, Barranquilla, Cali, Cúcuta, Medellín, Cartagena, Bucaramanga, Pereira, Pasto and Santa Marta.

“This second phase of the resumption of domestic flights is marked by the reactivation of a large number of regional airports, of great relevance for Avianca and its customers. Our mission is to continue connecting Colombia, that is why we are very excited to start connecting the country’s regions again. In this phase, the self-care and strict monitoring that passengers have of the biosecurity protocols is still key. On our side, customers can fly with absolute confidence, as we will take care of continuing to take care of them, as well as our employees, ”said Julián Laverde, Vice President of Network Operations.

The airline highlighted in its balance sheet that, since September 1, it has made about a thousand flights, with 94 thousand passengers being transported to destinations authorized by the National Government.

The destinations with the highest demand have been Bucaramanga, Cali, Cartagena and Medellín, cities in which the airline operates between 2 and 4 daily frequencies.
