To commemorate the tenth anniversary of the light novel series of Reki Kawahara, Sword Art Online, KADOKAWA has decided to collaborate with the world famous soft toy brand Steiff to launch two stuffed animals inspired by the protagonist Kirito and the main heroine Asuna.
The teddy bear Kirito 26 cm tall, wear the black suit of «Black Swordsman», while the bear suit of Asuna 25 cm tall is based on the one wearing the Blood Knights dress. The price of both items in Japan is 45,000 yen ($ 420).

Pre-orders for the two limited production items will be accepted at the official online store of Dengeki, Dengekiya, until July 31, 2020 (if the planned number is reached, pre-orders can end at any time). The scheduled shipping date is September 2020.
Sword Art Online, abbreviated as SAO, is a series of Japanese light novels written by Reki Kawahara and illustrated by Abec.
