Likewise, the institution affirmed that the officer was enjoying his vacation shift and not in acts of service, “the 11th Brigade Command immediately contacted the Metropolitan Police of Montería once the fact was known, to help in the actions that may take place ”, expressed the Army.

The command reiterated its policy of zero tolerance in acts contrary to the law, which are committed by members of the institution, and in turn announced that they will be respectful of the due process available to each military public servant.

On the whereabouts of the soldier, the authorities still have no information. The funeral of Luis Fernando Rivera will be this Sunday, January 3.
