Antioquia had 1,195 new cases of Covid today

The Sectional Secretariat of Health and Social Protection of Antioquia reported that 1,195 new registered cases of infected by Covid-19 in the department and rises to 121,792.

In Medellín there are (777), Bello (96), Envigado (61), Rionegro (46), Itagüí (41), Caldas (21), Sabaneta (21), Copacabana (20), Girardota (17), La Estrella ( 17), Guarne (11), Apartadó (8), Barbosa (7), Santa Rosa de Osos (5), Marinilla (4), Yolombó (3), Fredonia (3), Donmatías (3), Cáceres (3) , Abejorral (2), La Ceja (2), Carepa (2), Yondó (2), Anorí (2), El Santuario (2), Turbo (2), Carmen de Viboral (2), Tarazá (2), Briceño (1), Toledo (1), Titiribí (1), Amagá (1), Heliconia (1), Santa fe de Antioquia (1), Alejandría (1), Santo Domingo (1), El Retiro (1), Buriticá (1), Yarumal (1), Necoclí (1) and San Francisco (1).

All these new infected have been previously identified, placed in isolation and under the corresponding epidemiological surveillance.

With these new cases, the number of infected people in the department of Antioquia amounts to 121,792. Of them 59,940 are women and 61,852 are men.

ACTIVE CASES IN ANTIOQUIA:

In Medellín there are 2,259 cases and the remaining 1,045 are thus distributed in the following municipalities: Bello (205), Envigado (158), Itagüí (148), Rionegro (80), Caldas (59), La Estrella (51), Copacabana ( 51), Sabaneta (45), Girardota (41), Guarne (31), Apartadó (23), Marinilla (21), Barbosa (14), Carepa (10), Santa Rosa de Osos (7), Yarumal (6) , El Retiro (5), El Bagre (5), La Ceja (5), Carmen de Viboral (5), Amagá (4), Turbo (4), Briceño (3), Fredonia (3), Yolombó (3) , Donmatías (3), Ciudad Bolívar (3), El Peñol (3), Cáceres (3), Dabeiba (3), Puerto Triunfo (2), Chigorodó (2), Tarazá (2), El Santuario (2), Puerto Berrío (2), Granada (2), Heliconia (2), Yondó (2), Abejorral (2), Anorí (2), Cisneros (2), Santa fe de Antioquia (2), Buriticá (1), Urrao (1), Titiribí (1), Necoclí (1), Armenia (1), Caucasia (1), San Pedro de los Milagros (1), Toledo (1), Concepción (1), Alexandria (1), Camp ( 1), Entrerríos (1), Liborina (1), Cocorná (1), Giraldo (1), Peque (1), Santo Domingo (1), San Francisco (1) and San Roque (1).

Likewise, it points out that there are (614) hospitalized patients: (306) in the Intensive Care Unit, ICU, and (308) in general hospitalization.

Regarding the patients from other departments and who are hospitalized there are (11) people. From Chocó (3) are in a general room, Córdoba (1) in ICU and (3) in general hospitalization, Boyacá (1) in general hospitalization, Sucre (1) in ICU, Nariño (1) in general hospitalization and Risaralda (1 ) in ICU.

Regarding UCI cams, The department has 923 for COVID patients, of the latter there are 682 occupied, between confirmed and suspected patients. In other words, the occupation of COVID beds in the department is 73.89%.
