Annette Taddeo warned of consequences for Colombia for politicians who wanted to intervene in the US elections

Annette Taddeo, who became the first Colombian and the first Hispanic Democratic senator in the Florida state congress, who is said to be very close to Joe Biden, He assured, in an interview for the La W radio station, that the Colombian politicians and parties that tried to interfere in the United States elections would have generated a situation that could have consequences and even affect bilateral relations.

“Of course they did, they did it openly,” Taddeo replied when asked if he considered that there was interference by Colombian politicians in the elections that gave Democrat Joe Biden the winner on November 3.

“Whether it’s from one side or the other, or from any political party, it seems like a tactical error to me and I think they know it, due to the large number of calls and approaches towards me now that Joe Biden has won. They should be worried ”, warned the Democratic senator.

The questions made by the station are given as a consequence of the support shown, from Colombia, by members of the political party Democratic Center such as María Fernanda Cabal and Carlos Felipe Mejía and House Representative Juan David Vélez, who openly supported Donald Trump’s campaign and even tried to disqualify Joe Biden as unfit to preside over the North American country for being ‘socialist ‘as Cabal said.

The Government of Colombia has much work to do to amend those relations. They (the politicians of the democratic center) know it, they know they made a mistake, they didn’t pay attention ”, stressed.

The topic of Pacho Santos, whom Taddeo pointed out to be one of his personal friends, entered the conversation due to his behavior that was also participatory in the electoral process that took the presidency from Donald Trump.
