An outrageous case of animal abuse was announced this Wednesday after an animal defense foundation denounced the death of several dogs allegedly inside the headquarters of the Seine, in Malambo (Atlantic).

According to the information they shared on social networks, “the coordinator of the institution in this municipality gave the order to kill the dogs in bags,” whose message was accompanied by a video.
In the recording you can see three men who participate in the aberrant act, one of them holds the bag, another carries the animal until it and another adjusts the packaging.
They then proceeded to tie up the sack and stack it on the ground along with what appear to be other dogs wrapped in bags of the same color. “Some still alive drowned in the bags,” the complainants said.
After making this case known, the director in charge of the Atlantic Sena, Víctor Arbeláez, spoke about it and explained the results of an investigation that, he says, was carried out by this event.

“As a first result of the investigation, we found that there is a presence of canines in the headquarters facilities, who have lived there since it was built. However, some of them show aggressive behaviors that put workers at risk“, said the official of the entity.
Arbeláez added that a server who provides support at headquarters led an activity in order to keep the security of the administrative and surveillance personnel, but that unfortunately “ended in a procedural error.”

“We verify that the canines are in good health. It is worth clarifying that there were no apprentices from the Sena involved in these events,” concluded the director, who regretted what happened.
