The Office of the Attorney General of the Nation obtained an intramural security measure against JF Silva Úsuga, as allegedly responsible for aggravated homicide, qualified and aggravated theft and illegal possession of personal defense firearms.
The investigated events occurred on November 27 in the municipality of Bello, when A. de J. Cueto Díaz, 23, who was a supervisor of a private security company, was wounded with a firearm.
According to the investigation carried out by a prosecutor from the Immediate Reaction Unit (URI), the victim would have surprised the defendant when he stole 135 million pesos from an electronic teller machine located in the main park of this municipality north of the Aburrá Valley.
It was evident that after a struggle, Cueto Díaz received a shot in the head that caused his death.
Servants of the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) established that Silva Úsuga, an employee of the Brinks company in Colombia, had stolen a special key from the company to open the ATM and access the money.
The alleged perpetrator was captured by the CTI on December 5, during an operation in which a firearm was seized without permission to carry it.
The processed only accepted charges for the illegal possession of weapons.
