The Montería Traffic Police discovered on the morning of this Monday, December 28, an ambulance that was transporting beer baskets in the back of the vehicle. For this reason, an economic fine was applied as well as a temporary suspension for not complying with the requirements.

The operation was carried out on Circunvalar Avenue at the Buenavista neighborhood. The finding came after a control search requested by the uniformed officers who were in the area. Police confirmed that the driver did not have a driver’s license, which led to the immobilization of the car.

In addition to violating the regulations for the transport of an ambulance, the Police considered that the fine should also be imposed for transporting food and drinks without having the minimum requirements to do so.

This ambulance was in the name of a private individual and was sent to the patios that are managed by the Montería Transit Secretariat. The Police sealed the place that sold the beer to the driver as they did not have the necessary permits for the sale of alcoholic beverages.
