Amazon opens 2,000 new jobs in Colombia | Employment | Economy

Amazon announced Wednesday that it plans to create more than 2,000 new positions in Colombia. The new partners will reinforce the world-class service that Amazon provides to its customers around the world in English, Portuguese and Spanish, as well as the 24/7 service for North and South America.

“Since we opened our first operation in 2018 and to date we have 2,565 employees specialized in providing the world-class service that characterizes Amazon”commented Alejandro Filloy, Director of Customer Service for Latin America.

Positions are offered in the cities of Bogotá, Cali, Medellín, Barranquilla and Bucaramanga and include customer service agents, team managers, solution architects, and program and business managers. These are permanent jobs to work from home and with a variety of hours.
