Álvaro Uribe’s message to his son Jerónimo
Former President Álvaro Uribe Vélez published this Tuesday morning a video of two minutes and forty seconds in which his son Jerónimo Uribe Moreno recounts the attacks that his father has suffered during his political career. The publication, which is accompanied by the message “I have always sought that the new generation does not have to suffer this”, is the fragment of an interview on Caracol Radio in which, supported by press archives, Uribe Moreno makes a journey since the explosion of the Orquídea Real bomb in December 1992, which occurred in Medellín, including the attack against the helicopter of the Antioquia Government when Uribe Vélez was acting as governor of that department, as well as the attack in Barranquilla, until recalling August 7, 2002 when the former president took office as the first president of Colombia and pipettes bombs were launched towards the House of Nariño. The video, which has already completed more than a thousand comments, three thousand shares and more than five thousand reactions, has generated a whole series of opinions for and against among Uribe Vélez’s followers.
