Almacenes LA 14, a renowned company from Cali, confirmed that it had submitted the request to the Superintendency of Companies to benefit from the business reorganization process.
This request is given due to the financial impact that the company has had and in order to protect its creditors, allies, collaborators and shareholders.
In a statement the company indicates that in recent years the Valle del Cauca company has experienced different internal and market situations that have triggered financial difficulties, accentuated by the crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic.
For now, “the company is developing a business model focused on people: customers, employees, suppliers, on the value proposition, on the optimization of processes, on the operation of stores and on their integration with technological platforms.”
The company from Cali, which has been in existence for 55 years, thanked its clients, suppliers, allies and employees for understanding at this stage.
Almacenes LA 14 has 3,295 direct collaborators in its different chain stores.
