According to the Periódico del Meta, García’s body was in a mass grave made in a bush in the Vencedores neighborhood, Villavicencio, in the Villa Campestre sector, next to the Guatiquía River.
The young woman, a mother of 3 children, had been missing for about a month; It was possible to find his location after his ex-partner, a 26-year-old young man, confessed that he tricked the victim into going to the crime scene, and there he murdered and buried her, the media indicates.
García had already been attacked by her murderer on several occasions. The last time, he hit her with a hammer, adds the Llanero newspaper, which left her with temporary amnesia. When she recovered, she returned to the house where she lived with the attacker, who eventually ended up murdering her.
