The authorities captured José Luis Rodríguez Martínez, alias The Indian Ronal, third man in command of the Residual Armed Organized Group (GAOr) that is led by Néstor Gregorio Vera, better known as Ivan Bite, who was part of the extinct Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (Farc). The minister indicated that alias Indio Ronal had been in the Farc for more than 20 years and, currently, was part of the GAOr in which he had risen to a place of power, after the capture of aliases Mireya (as of May 2020) and aliases The doctor (in October 2020).
