The Colombian cyclist Angel Alexander Gil (EPM-Scott) has won the second stage of the 70th edition of the Vuelta a Colombia, a 149.5 kilometer day held this Saturday between the towns of Tunja and Macanal, in the department of Boyac.
With a time of 3 hours, 26 minutes and 52 seconds, Gil prevailed in the arrival at Macanal ahead of Juan Pablo Surez (EPM-Scott) and Diego Camargo (Colombia Tierra de Atletas), second and third respectively. The Spanish scar Sevilla (Medelln) was fourth.
In a demanding stage arriving in a third category mountain pass, the 28-year-old cyclist, who was part of the Movistar Amrica team in 2017, confirmed the good time he is living after having won the Vuelta a Antioquia on October 23.

The Return to Colombia continue this Sunday with the dispute of its third stage, of 144.6 kilometers, starting in Sutatenza and arriving in Guasca, near Bogot.
