Alert in the Valley: Hypothesis of the massacre of four young people who were chatting on a farm in Buga – Cali – Colombia

Three men broke into the San Jacobo farm, in the flat rural area of ​​Buga, where two minors and five young people, aged between 17 and 18, were chatting at a party from Saturday night until early Sunday morning.

There, they allegedly tried to kidnap the son of the owner of this property, located in the Cerro Rico village of the Chambimbal district, in the center of Valle del Cauca.

The owner of the farm is Wilson Alberto Pérez Murillo.

This is one of the hypotheses that the Prosecutor’s Office is investigating, with an elite body of 10 officials, by order of the President of the Republic himself, Iván Duque, and the Attorney General of the Nation, Francisco Barbosa, and other authorities with the National Police .

The owner of the farm told the authorities that his son arrived at the place in the company of a friend and his relatives at around 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, to share with his family. At the site there were more people who escaped unharmed and tried to help all the victims.

The owner of the farm said that it was 2 a.m. on Sunday, January 24, when the three men They arrived with a firearm asking for their son.

Without a word they would have started shooting at the people in this place.

One of the relatives in the house would have defended himself and there was a crossfire.

The fatal victims were children of families in Buga, and were between 17 and 18 years old.

In this place were Juan Pablo Marín Pérez, Nicolás Suárez Valencia, Sara María Rodríguez García, all three, 18 years old, and a minor by the name of Valentina, 17 years old.

They were the mortal victims of this massacre that shocked, once again, Valle del Cauca and the entire country.

Jacobo Pérez, 18, the son of the owner of the farm, where he and his friends had gathered, was injured.

Santiago Tascón Arboleda, 17, and the estate’s butler, Ramiro Antonio Martínez Cuadros, 60, are also injured.

The seven youths had recorded a video that they circulated on social media, hours before the massacre.

The event recalled the massacre of eight young people in Samaniego (Nariño), on August 15, 2020, when they were also chatting at a party.

Commanders of the Army, General Eduardo Zapateiro, and of the National Police, Major General Jorge Vargas, traveled to the farm in Buga this Sunday.

At the same time, the governor of Valle del Cauca, Clara Luz Roldán, announced a reward for finding the culprits.

At first, there was talk of up to 100 million pesos and then, the figure rose to 200 million.

The Mayor’s Office of Buga contributes 50 million pesos and the other 150 million are paid by the Government.
