Given the accidents presented in the wetlands of Cali, the Administrative Department of Environmental Management – Dagma, will inspect the possible damages and will carry out a continuous inspection.
On Friday night, a man who was driving a vehicle, apparently speeding, lost control and fell into the Pan American wetland.
In the first report of the biologists of the Dagma, “it does not show any affectations in the water mirror and the only evident damages were those caused to physical structures that are part of the urban furniture,” said the director of the environmental entity, Carlos Eduardo Calderón Llantén. .
Likewise, on April 30, an accident was reported in which a doctor tried to avoid a motorized vehicle and fell into the babilla lake.
Dagma professionals will continue to review the wetlands with the aim of presiding over possible damages to these ecosystems that are in charge of regulating the climate and cleaning the air, water and soil.
