A supposed golden monolith appeared in Colombia, as in other parts of the world, and nobody has been able to explain it: it is a trend in social networks

This Saturday the social networks in Colombia began to fill with photos and videos of what would be the strange appearance of a golden monolith in the municipality of Chía, located a few kilometers from Bogotá.

It is unknown who located the structure on this land and that it was apparently found by workers in the morning.

The mystery of the monolith began in the United States when it was reported that in the middle of Utah they found the metal structure, which days later disappeared without explanation. This was reported by the Utah State Office for Spatial Planning, who cited “Credible testimonies” that the metal structure was removed last Friday and that they did not.

Regarding the origin and authors of the monoliths, nothing is confirmed yet, however, some claim that it is a “super alien weapon”, a “NASA device” or an “extraordinary advertising campaign.”

In the case of the monolith that was found in the Utah desert, David Surber was perhaps the first adventurer to reach the mysterious structure and used his Instagram account to share some details: “Aluminum, non-magnetic, three pieces riveted together, two rivets are missing at the top”, said.

He also found that the structure seemed hollow and that the trip from the entrance of the desert to the place of the monolith was approximately one hour, between car and a section on foot.
