An unusual event occurred last Sunday, November 29, when a man murdered another because he refused to give him chili for an empanada, in Mosquera, Cundinamarca. The Police of this department managed to capture the alleged murderer. Authorities invite the community to be more tolerant.
According to the information provided by Colonel Cesar Castro, Cundinamarca Police Commander, the incident occurred around 10:10 pm. Apparently, after denying him the chili, he would have started a fight between the two men. “One of them had a knife and with it he caused the mortal wound,” said the commander.
The victim managed to be transferred to a hospital, however, when the ambulance arrived, the man no longer had vital signs. “Thanks to the timely information from the public and the reaction of the quadrant, the capture of the perpetrator is achieved,” Castro announced.

The man was placed in the hands of the Prosecutor’s Office. The department’s Police invited the community to report any event that could affect security and coexistence. Reports can be made through line 123 or at the nearest Police station.
In addition, he made a special call to observe and abide by the rules of healthy coexistence anywhere. “You have to have tolerance and help resolve the conflicts of other citizens,” concluded the commander.
