After beating well three of the greats, América, Nacional and Cali (the latter, in the South American Cup), Millionaires it was getting complicated with one of the teams that is fighting not to be relegated, Deportivo Pereira. In the end, he won, even easily, 0-2, to reach the last date alive.
Millonarios was overcome in the first half by his own anxiety, by the need to win, but also because Pereira did not make it easy for him. The locals, also overwhelmed by the relegation table, went out to attack, had a couple of options and demanded goalkeeper Juan Moreno.

With everything and his anguish, Millonarios had a crazy play, with a penalty from Mauricio Casierra to Cristian Arango not sanctioned, with a shot taken out of line and with all the madness of a team that wanted and could not.
That anxiety also appeared at the beginning of the second half, when Ayron del Valle missed an incredible goal, missing the ball in the first instance, left-handed, and then, trying to locate it with the right, but in the end he sent it over the arc.
The tranquility arrived at 12 of the second half, when Pereira lost a ball leaving and Millonarios, finally, was able to specify a collective play of which his coach asks so much: Alberto Gamero: Del Valle went down the left wing and touched the area, Diego Godoy made the diagonal inward, received and touched Arango, who defined with the outer edge. They got a great goal.
After the 0-1, Millonarios had 10 minutes in which he hinted that he could expand that advantage, but then Pereira was putting him in his field and again demanded Moreno, who was becoming more and more figure, even with a spectacular closing to Jairo Molina: he took the ball down with his hand and then pushed it back with his foot to pick it up.

In the end, as had already happened in Palmaseca and in Pascual Guerrero, Millonarios scored again in the replacement time, in a play that did not paint well: a past center by Eliser Quiñones ended up in the other band, where Juan Camilo Salazar put her back into the area. Andrés Román touched it to the center and Ricardo Márquez took the salt: 0-2 and to think, first, about what happens this Wednesday in Chicó vs. Águilas and on Thursday in Pasto vs. Once Caldas, to shuffle again.
