Valle reported 18 deaths from covid-19 this Tuesday, twelve of them were registered in Cali

This Tuesday the Ministry of Health reported 7,612 new infections of covid-19 and raised the figure in Colombia to 1’156,675, since the health emergency began in the country. Of that number, 61,714 are active cases.

The portfolio also reported that there were 174 deaths from coronavirus in the last day, so now there are 33,148 associated deaths. Regarding the recovered, they indicated that 1,059,237 Colombians have overcome the disease, so far.

In the Valley, 18 deaths were reported, twelve of them in Cali. The other deaths in the region correspond to the municipalities of Buga (2), Tuluá, Cartago and Roldanillo. In addition, there were 1,216 new positives that raised the cases in the department to 91,338, in total.

The new confirmed cases are distributed in Antioquia (1,630), Bogotá (1,613), Valle (1,216), Caldas (521), Cundinamarca (316), Santander (281), Boyacá (215), Quindío (182), Meta (161 ), Cauca (148), Tolima (142), Norte de Santander (140), Córdoba (128), Risaralda (121), Huila (118) and Santa Marta (112).

Below the hundred cases are Cartagena (85), Barranquilla (84), Cesar (81), Atlántico (55), Casanare (52), Caquetá (45), Nariño (41), Sucre (36), Arauca (27 ), La Guajira (21), Bolívar (14), Magdalena (8), Putumayo (7), Guaviare (4), Amazonas (3), Guainía (3), San Andrés (1) and Vaupés (1).
