Just a few days after a man was stabbed to death on a Transmilenio bus, in an attempted robbery, citizens again denounced a similar case that they say was presented on Monday morning.

This continues to show that the increase in insecurity in Bogotá is not a simple perception, but is a reality that is already supported by figures from the mayor’s office.

On the new case of robbery in Transmilenio, reported on Twitter, it was said that thieves got on a bus of the capital’s transport system, in front of the Marseille station (on the Americas avenue trunk) and robbed the passengers.

However, Blu Radio said that the thieves were going to rob a passenger and a man got in and ended up injured.

The criminals stabbed the victim in the arm, according to images shared on networks, which Pulzo refrains from publishing.

The wounded man, apparently, was helped by other bus passengers who put a cloth on him to cover the wound. According to the broadcaster, he went to Kennedy hospital where he is still waiting for medical attention.

Transmilenio spokesmen told Pulzo that they have no report that there was a robbery in an article this Monday. They assured that they consulted with the control center, but they do not have information about it, even, they say, that they sent personnel to know if there was any news at the Marseille station, but nothing unusual was known either. The station Police, indicated the transport system to this medium, did not report any robbery.

Due to these constant cases of insecurity, a list of the stations of the Bogotá transportation system where the most robberies was revealed, led by the whereabouts of Avenida Jiménez.
