Although they failed to dismantle them completely, about 12 members of the bands ‘Los k’ and ‘Fénix Admon’ were captured this week in the middle of an operation carried out by the Sijín, reported the control entity.

The control body also indicated that the uniformed personnel, assigned to the security of Transmilenio, they received between 350,000 and 400,000 pesos in commission for each robbery committed by the criminals.

Finally, the Attorney General’s Office stated that ‘Los K’ are involved in more than 6 robberies in the mass transportation system, which are equivalent to 10 million pesos; while ‘Fénix Admon’ is one of the most feared bands in Bogotá.

Those captured respond to the names of: Edison Swen Orjuela Castillo, Jaime Millán Arias, Michael Andrés Ruiz Fonseca, Wilmer Andrés Bermúdez Ballesteros, Ángelo Eduvey Angarita Roa, Anderson Stiven Orjuela Martin and Laura Alejandra Ardila Pinzón.
