In a meeting in which the disposition and cordiality marked its development, the Government promised to accelerate and implement a strategy for the protection of the life of the ex-FARC, one of the most important requests and that motivated the ‘Pilgrimage for peace and defense of life’ carried out by the demobilized from Meta to Bogotá.

It was also agreed to hold meetings in all the territories of peace, there will be seven extended meetings that will take place in all the regions “and that will allow gathering the feelings of all the people in the regions.”
At the end of the meeting that was held at the Casa de Nariño, the government and demobilized persons highlighted the scope of the commitments. “The fact of recognizing the petitions on the issues discussed and the President’s commitment is very good news for the process and good news for the country,” while the exFarc spokesperson insisted that “the peace process continues ”.
