After the elimination of the South American Cup and the departure of Juan Carlos Osorio as technical director of Atlético Nacional, the club determined Alejandro Restrepo as leader of the interim coaching staff for the remaining matches in the Colombian League and the round of 16 game of the Colombia Cup against Águilas Doradas.
Through a statement, the purslane club specified that “Atlético Nacional informs that Alejandro Restrepo Mazo, Technical Director; Juan Camilo Pérez González, Technical Assistant; and Walter Rivera Gallego, Physical Trainer, make up the Technical Corps that will lead our professional team for the next league matches, with the firm objective of qualifying for the finals of Colombian football.
Similarly, Pompilio Páez left his position on the team and Carlos Tabares will become the Institution’s High Performance Manager.
“We thank Professor Pompilio Páez for his professionalism and commitment to the Institution, and we wish him every success in his future projects. The physical trainer Carlos Tabares will continue with his work as High Performance Manager at Atlético Nacional ”, he highlighted.
