The District woke up this Thursday on alert to respond to emergencies that arise in the city due to the rains. The Deputy Director of Attention to Emergencies and Disasters of the District Institute for Risk Management and Climate Change, Andrés Fierro, reported that today heavy rainfall could occur in Bogotá, especially in the Usaquén sector, between races 7 and 9, on the street 170 to the north generating flooding in the hillside area.

“At this time it is a normal situation, in this area, because it is a hillside, the risk of water increases, which generates dragging of materials such as stonesAdditionally, there are puddles due to the second rainy season of the year, which ends in mid-December ”, said the expert.
For today, November 5, according to Ideam, there will be light rains during the morning and intermittent in different areas of the city. In the afternoon there will be rains of varying intensity, the strongest of which would fall on the north and south of the capital. These will have the possibility of electrical activity.
On the other hand, at night, rains are estimated in a large part of the city, the strongest in the south and northeast. The expected maximum temperature is 20 degrees Celsius.
