A new fact of insecurity was reported on the morning of this Wednesday, November 4, in the town of Chapinero, in Bogotá, in the vicinity of the French School.
Two criminals who were mobilizing on a motorcycle approached a woman who was in the area, on 87th street with 7A race, to steal her belongings.

A father of a family who was on the other side of the street, waiting to enter the educational center, witnessed how these thieves attacked the woman, so he decided to take out his firearm and shoot into the air.
The shots generated panic in the surrounding community and even in the children who were in their classes, who took cover under their desks.

The criminals fled and the police have already deployed a padlock plan to try to find their whereabouts. In the end, they failed to commit this theft.
From the educational center they sent a message of calm about what happened, and They explained that there were no shots fired at the institution and no injuries were reported.

“Classes have just resumed normally and the situation is calm. I thank you for not coming to the high school or calling your children,” the rector of the French Lyceum asked the parents.
