The Seventh Army Division announced that they had transferred troops to Nechí, to verify the situation in the township where the massacre occurred, as well as the Antioquia Government, according to RCN Radio, said that it will send a specialized group to that municipality.
So far this year, in Colombia there have been 71 massacres, of which 8 have been in Bajo Cauca de Antioquia, the station said.
The most recent massacre that was known in the country was the one that occurred on the border between Córdoba and Sucre, in which 5 people were murdered.
