The pictures
Twitter user @ 20320Vero, who describes herself on her profile as a person who loves animals and who goes against the abuse of animals and humans, shared the images.
“Is this a new way of presenting animal meat?” asked, ironically, the woman, along with the photos in which the pheasants are seen, complete, with feathers and the hares, also complete, with all their fur. Even one of the latter has its eye open.

The question was addressed to the French supermarket chain E.Leclerc. Specifically, according to the user, the animals were for sale at the point of the town of Morières-lès-Avignon, in the department of Vaucluse.
The Brigitte Bardot Foundation animal rights organization echoed the situation and expressed its discontent.

“It is very shocking to see this type of images,” said the Foundation to the local media ‘Le Figaro’, while highlighting the attitude of many buyers.
“It is positive to make consumers responsible for what they buy, whereas years ago there was no controversy on this issue”, added to the same medium.
