The Spaniard Enric Mas (Movistar) acknowledged at the finish line of the only time trial of the Vuelta a Espaa, ending at the Mirador de Zaro, that the day has been “a disaster” for him.
“For me today has been a disaster. I couldn’t find a rhythm, I couldn’t find a good position on the chrono bike …”, he confessed, the self-critical of the Balearic Spanish Television.

But “right now” just think “to rest”. “And from tomorrow on we will talk among ourselves how to plan the development of the next stages, how to approach this last week of La Vuelta and try to continue fighting for that podium,” he advanced.
Regarding the bike change carried out, in a different area than the rest, he said that it was “an internal decision between the team” and that, “taking the bike from the car is something perfectly legal”.
