Through his official Twitter account, The Institute of Studies for Development and Peace (Indepaz) confirmed this Saturday that three people were executed in Mercaderes, municipality located in the south of the department of Cauca.
The organism, likewise, indicated that the victims would initially be two women and a man, who would have some kind of relationship with Narváez Daza (President of the Community Action Board of the village of El Vado).

Although the relationship between the two attacks has not been verified, the form recalled that Narváez Daza was murdered in the company of his wife, his son and one of his granddaughters on April 29 at his residence, located one hour and 30 minutes from the urban area of that municipality.
Finally, Indepaz assured that at least 70 massacres have been perpetrated this year in Colombia, in addition to the murder of about 50 social leaders and human rights defenders, including several from ethnic communities.
