The Mayor of Cali ruled out the curfew and the prohibition for the Halloween weekend.

This was established in decree 4112.010.20.1888 of 2020, which does not contemplate these restrictive measures and sets out a series of orders for the celebration.

The document prohibits “tours in private or public places in Cali, as well as the hand-to-hand delivery or distribution of candies or sweets.”

Meetings and social events in closed complexes, shopping malls and public places to collect sweets will also be restricted.

Citizens, the decree says, will not be able to do “the traditional neighborhood tours to collect candy, caravans, costume parties and face-to-face contests, as well as any activity that, due to its conditions, facilitates the gathering of people.”

In addition, the document indicates that commercial establishments must “refrain” from carrying out activities that promote the thematic celebration of “Costume Day” or “Children’s Day.”

However, the gastronomic and beverage service establishments will function normally, the decree indicates.
