The Antioquia Government issued on Wednesday the decree that formalizes the unified measures to contain the spike of contagion during the holiday Halloween bridge in the department. The measures, which will govern the 125 municipalities, do not include closures of commercial establishments, as was initially said last Monday.

The restrictions are three:
1. Adult curfew:
– From 10:00 pm on Friday, October 30 to 6:00 am on Saturday, October 31.
– From 10:00 pm on Saturday, October 31 to 6:00 am on Sunday, November 1.
– From 10:00 pm on Sunday, November 1 to 6:00 am on Monday, November 2.
Citizens who, in response to their work activities or for emergency reasons, must travel are excepted. To verify the exception, proof of the work performed must be presented.
2. Curfew for minors:
Continuously, from Friday, October 30 at 6:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday, November 2.
3. Prohibition:
From 6:00 pm on Friday, October 30 to 11:59 pm on Monday, November 2.

Regarding the doubts that we receive from our readers about what can and cannot be done during the holiday bridge, we consulted with the Secretary of the Government of Antioquia, Luis Fernando Suárez, who answered the questions asked:

Reply: “If a person arrives on a flight during restricted hours, he can present or show that he is coming from a national or international flight and that may be enough for the public force to let him pass.”

Reply: “In the decree there are exceptions for people who must work during restricted hours, as long as they prove with an employment letter or card that they were based on their work. They are excepted in the norm ”.

Police operations to enforce restrictions
The Police, in coordination with the Government of Antioquia and the municipal authorities, will be watching over the safety of children and adolescents on this festive bridge.
There will be a device of 5,042 troops that will be located in the churches, main parks, holy fields and in the main road axes, in order to sensitize citizens to abide by biosecurity measures, due to the increase in cases of covid- 19.
