The epidemiological bulletin of the departmental health secretariat reported that for this Wednesday, October 28, there are 359 new infections of Covid-19 in the region, distributed as follows: Armenia with 245, Calarcá with 49, Montenegro with 17, La Tebaida with 14, Circasia with 9, Pijao with 8, Quimbaya with 7, Salento with 7, Filandia with 2 and Buenavista with 1.
The report also indicates 5 deaths from the virus. The deaths occurred in Armenia -4- and Circasia -1-. With the figures, Quindío reaches 9,938 positives, 6,970 recovered and 244 deaths.
In the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, there were 8,717 cases in 35 districts and departments, with Antioquia leading the statistics with 2,109 infected and Guainía closing with 3 reports. The number of deaths was 188, with which Colombia reaches 30,753 of 1,041,935 people confirmed with the disease, 941,874 infected have recovered and 66,912 citizens have the active disease.
In the world there are 44,052,388 infected, 29,889,942 recovered and 1,168,076 deceased.
