Atalanta and Ajax tied two goals this Tuesday for the second date of the Champions League group stage, largely because Duván Zapata dressed as a hero for his team and he came back from a game that they had almost lost.
The Dutch finished the first half winning 2-0. However, in the second half the Colombian tied the score, giving his club the result it needed to stay in second place in the demanding area that Liverpool is also in.
Zapata scored at minute 54 and 60. The first of his goals was headed, while the second was culminating a lethal counterattack.
These are the first two annotations of the Colombian in this edition of the Champions League, tournament in which the season reached the quarterfinals.
Now Duván and his teammates will face Liverpool twice in a row, the leader of the group after their two wins at the start of the tournament.
