During the hearing, the Public Ministry official He mentioned the details of the lies that the uniformed men had committed.

Specifically, the prosecutor dealt with the report presented by the patrolman Rodríguez Díaz on the events that occurred between the night of 8 and the early morning of September 9 in the Villaluz sector in western Bogotá.

The report said that they were patrolling and that they went to the scene because they received a call to attend a fight between 8 people. However, the investigation concluded that there were not that number of people in the place and that there was no such fight.

The Rodríguez Díaz document says that the victim, before being reduced, attacked the patrolman Lloreda and that his companions went against him (Rodríguez) when he tried to help Lloreda. However, the testimonies collected in the area and the security videos that are part of the investigation do not give credit to that version.

In the initial version, the uniformed men did not mention that a shot was fired in the middle of the events, but in the disciplinary trial Rodríguez acknowledged that a shot was fired on the floor, supposedly to dissuade Ordoñez and his friends. At the autopsy of the victim, traces of parts of a firearm projectile were found in his right leg.

Likewise, although Rodríguez never mentioned having beaten Ordóñez, according to the Attorney General’s Office in the videos within the Villaluz CAI, Lloreda Cubillos is observed beating “mercilessly with his feet and hands on Javier Ordóñez, and Harby Damián Rodríguez Díaz is crouched, holding the body”. It is even pointed out that Rodríguez later kicked the victim.

On the other hand, among what Lloreda pointed out when delivering a video in the disciplinary process was that the same victim hit himself on the head on several occasions. Something that Rodíguez also mentioned when he said that they saw him hit the wall by himself. But in the process, the forensic doctor who performed the autopsy on Ordóñez pointed out that the The injuries that caused Ordóñez’s death could not be self-inflicted, but rather the product of multiple blunt traumas by third parties. Those injuries were the burst of the right kidney and the injuries of the other kidney, which caused severe internal bleeding.

In addition, the patrolman Rodríguez Díaz went so far as to say that the victim was never in his custody and the stories and videos show that he actively participated in the operation in which the abuses that led to Ordóñez’s death were committed.
