Two policemen from “Agamemnon II” murdered in Córdoba

The National Police reported that on the morning of this Saturday they found the bodies of Subintendent Milton Eliécer Flórez Arcila and patrolman David Leonardo Bustamante Sánchez, who were part of the ‘Agamemnon II Police Campaign’.

“The National Police of all Colombians laments and vehemently rejects the events that occurred in the municipality of Puerto Libertador (Córdoba), around 6:45 am today, in the Corozalito village,” said the institution.

According to preliminary information, the members of the Institution they were carrying out research work against organized crime in the area, when hours later they appeared lifeless.

For this case, the Institution appointed a high-level investigative group to carry out the activities to collect information and evidence that will make it possible to clarify the causes of the event and find those responsible.

It is worth mentioning that in that area of ​​the country the organized armed groups ‘Clan del Golfo’ and ‘Los Caparros’ commit crimes.

Subintendent Milton Flórez had been at the service of the institution for 11 years and 10 months and his life folio nine decorations and 55 congratulations. The uniformed man left two minor children.

For his part, the patrolman David Bustamante had joined the Institution six years ago and had 13 decorations and 54 congratulations, with his death he left two minor children.

“The National Police stands in solidarity and expresses its heartfelt condolences to the respected family of our soldiers,” said the institution.
