The footballer Johan Arango is once again at the center of the controversy. This time, the Colombian is involved in a complaint for attempted rape.
This was announced by the television presenter Magaly Medina in her program ‘Magaly TV, la firma’, of the ‘ATV’ channel, in Peru, where the events occurred.

What is known?
The reported situation occurred in the early hours of Friday, October 23, in an apartment located in the district of Miraflores, in Lima.
In the place were the alleged victim along with two other women and soccer players Omar Tejeda, a Mexican, and Johan Arango, who belongs to the Binational club.
According to the young woman to ‘Magaly TV, the firm’, the players were drinking long before she arrived at the apartment and, from one moment to another, Tejeda violated her and tried to abuse her.

“I was wearing shorts and a postoperative girdle. He (Tejeda) reached in, pulled my clothes and touched my buttocks, breaking my girdle and my pants. That was in front of everyone ”, commented.
After a struggle, the young woman freed herself from her alleged assailant and locked herself in a bathroom, from which she was able to call the authorities.
Once helped, she presented the corresponding complaint.

Local Peruvian media stated that both Tejeda and Arango were taken to a police station, but they refused to sign the complaint.
On the afternoon of Friday the 23rd, the Melgar club announced that, by mutual agreement, Omar Tejeda “ceased to be part of our institution.”
Later, he asserted that he is against any act of violence.

“We strongly deplore any act that leads to physical or psychological harm to any person. We are not going to allow anyone linked to the club to be immersed in this type of accusation, ”said Melgar.
In the case of Arango, Binacional, a team that arrived in January 2020, announced that it had opened a disciplinary process against the Colombian for the events denounced.
During his career, Arango has starred in various acts of indiscipline that have not allowed him to establish himself in any club. Parties, alcohol, being late for training sessions, unnecessary expulsions, among the acts that have been criticized the most.
