The High Commissioner for Peace, Miguel Ceballos, assured that this is part of the “commitment that we have acquired as a Government with the indigenous peoples.”
Ceballos will meet with the indigenous people of Totoró and communities. For his part, the Vice Minister of the Interior, Carlos Alberto Baena, indicated that he will meet with the Misak indigenous authorities, to “continue with a subcommission that was created that will carry out an archaeological study of the Tulcán pyramid”:
Baena emphasized that with this they send a message that “the Government has always been, and therefore also the President of the Republic, through us, making this dialogue.”

However, the CRIC indicated that they will meet this Friday but they will notify the Peace Commissioner that they will not go to a next meeting with this agenda, therefore they are awaiting the evaluation if a new schedule is made.
For their part, leaders of the minga indicated that if necessary they will return to November 21, “with more force”, the day on which the National Strike Committee scheduled a march.
