A video in which a group of people is seen attacking two women, who, according to the registry, would be practicing witchcraft with the sacrifice of two black cats, whose bodies were also found in the place, along with a bag full of what would be tobacco and essences for the practice of rituals.
The women, one of them an older adult, were forced to go out amid beatings and insults from the Jarillón del Río Cauca, in the Decepaz neighborhood, east of Cali, as far as they would have been followed by residents of the neighborhood, after hearing rumors about black magic and the loss of several felines.
The events were rejected on social networks, as the murder and cruelty to cats and the attacks suffered by the two women, who were thrown to the ground and beaten with sticks and blunt objects, caused outrage.
After the video was published, it was learned that some inhabitants will file a complaint with the authorities for possible animal abuse.
Let us remember that October is considered the most dangerous month of the year for black cats because it is when historically more activities associated with the occult are reported, with the 31st being the peak day, since between that day and until November 2, the day of the dead, rituals increase.
Currently animal defenders ask not to give up for adoption and take good care of pets, especially those of black color.
