In a video captured by the security cameras of a chicken factory, in the municipality of Apodaca, Nuevo León (Mexico), the moment was recorded when an employee of the place killed to an alleged extortionist of at least two shots in the back, while he was talking on a cell phone.
The call the deceased was on was to tell someone else that the establishment was not going to give him money because “everything had been taken by the boss,” according to the recording.
The recording shows that while the alleged extortionist continues to “complain” to his interlocutor, one of the five men who would work in the poultry industry stands in front of a colleague. The latter takes out a pistol that the former had in a trouser holster and shoots.

According to various Mexican media, the authorities arrived at the scene two hours after what happened.

The poultry was cordoned off and a taxi was identified in which the alleged extortionist, about 35 years old, would have arrived at the scene.
For his part, the employee who pulled the trigger was arrested on murder charges, but was released due to expiration of terms, as the police report delivered had inconsistencies.

The Mexican Prosecutor’s Office did not drop the charges while establishing whether the employer acted in legitimate defense.
This argument would take force if it is found that the deceased threatened the owner with death, as reported by ‘El Heraldo’.
Despite what was experienced in Apodaca, ‘El Heraldo’ also assured that extortion in Nuevo León fell 70% after the closure of the Topo Chico prison in Monterrey in 2019, a place that was considered ” very dangerous”.
