This Tuesday it was learned that Judge Ramiro Elíseo Flórez refused again to marry the couple of women who had already rejected the marriage request a few weeks ago, although a high court ordered it.

Flórez, Tenth Civil Judge of Cartagena, did not agree to marry the couple of women despite having 48 hours of grace to accept the marriage request of the two women and decided to go legally so as not to marry them.

As the Colombian station Blu announced, the judge decided to denounce the citizens Julieth del Carmen Ramos and Guaskary Alejandra Vásquez for alleged procedural fraud, who were waiting for him to marry them.

This is the third time that the Tenth Civil Judge of Cartagena refuses to marry them since he had rejected it in the first instance and on appeal, for which he has alleged moral impediments to do so on all occasions.

It should be noted that this has been considered a violation of the rights of the two women, since the Constitutional Court has ruled in favor of the rights of the LGTBI community in Colombia, so that they can marry.
