The Prosecutor’s Office says, according to RCN News, that Parra escaped from his home after causing 7 head injuries to his ex-partner Ángela del Pilar Ferro, with an ax that, apparently, was part of a collection that he had.

The CTI and the Police, already with an arrest warrant issued by a judge, are looking for the accused of the attack, which occurred in front of a 12-year-old boy (the victim’s son), but, the man would have changed “his physiognomy to hide from authority”says the newscast.

The now fugitive from justice must answer, according to the media, for attempted femicide and domestic violence, crimes for which Parra could be sentenced to pay up to 30 years in prison.

The attack, which occurred at dawn on Saturday, October 17, would have occurred after a couple’s argument, in which Parra would have made a scene of jealousy to Ferro, in a house in the town of Usaquén, north of Bogota

The victim had been with her attacker for about a year, whom, according to a friend of hers, she met through Tinder, a dating app.

For now, Ferro remains in the intensive care unit of the Fundación Cardio Infantil, where she has already undergone neurosurgery, while the authorities continue to search for Parra.
