What will happen if the indigenous people detect infiltrators?
The slogan of the Indigenous Minga is that this be a peaceful, safe and biosecure mobilization. However, if infiltrators or inciters to violence are detected, there is already a protocol:
“The person who comes to incite violence will be captured and in our concept ‘harmonized’. We have said that we are not going to fight. They know that if someone goes outside the guidelines they will be punished through our uses and guidelines”, said José Albeiro Camayo, coordinator of the Indigenous Guard.
This will involve the ‘fuete’ and the direction to the indigenous councils. It is also planned to hand them over to the local authorities.
