The Section of Absence of Recognition of the JEP summoned high officials of the national government, members of the Public Ministry and the Attorney General of the Nation, within the framework of the study of protection measures for ex-combatants of the Farc.

To date, says the JEP, 230 former members of the former FARC, signatories of the Peace Agreement, have been assassinated. To this are added other attacks such as threats, attacks, and forced displacement to which they have been forced.

In this diligence, security guarantees for reintegration in the territories will be verified, with a territorial, gender and ethnic focus. What has been done to prevent and overcome stigmatization will also be reviewed, within the framework of the guarantees of non-repetition and the reconciliation process “.

The JEP warned that officials may only delegate their assistance to the proceedings to vice ministers and vice prosecutor, “and only after justification and verification by the JEP of the functional impossibility of attending”.
