Security in Cali, the capital of Valle del Cauca, has given rise to talk due to various criminal acts that have occurred in recent months.
In fact, figures provided by local authorities showed that September was the month with the most homicides (119 were registered).

Although the city has seen an improvement in security in recent years, it continues to record higher crime figures compared to other major capitals in the country. And, according to the Quality of Life Report, it is also above the national average in murders.
In the last hours a video that would have been Recorded by the victim of a robbery in the El Poblado II neighborhood, located in eastern Cali.

The man, who has not been identified so far, appears to be the owner of a motorcycle that is being stolen by two young men. One of the criminals, who is in the back of the vehicle, has a revolver in his left hand and tries, in vain, to hide it.

The victim, for his part, begs not to be stolen: “How are they going to take her? See, you know me, you know who I am,” he yells.

The subjects ignore him and, meanwhile, the thug who is going to drive tries to start the vehicle by pressing the starter. However, the motorcycle does not respond and as the seconds pass, the criminals begin to despair.

Later in the clip, the victim says: “See, this is Geraldine’s cousin”, but it does not clarify whether it refers to the subjects who try to take the motorcycle or to a companion.
If anything, the subjects seem to give up. The ‘failed driver’ lowers the leg of the motorcycle due to the impossibility of starting.
Despite the lurid scene, details of what might have happened after the filming ends are still unknown. In addition, neither the Cali Police nor the Security Secretariat of that city have ruled on what happened.
