In a statement known this Thursday, the Indigenous Minga, which is mobilizing towards Bogotá, officially ruled on the accusations that have been made in recent days that this demonstration is supposedly infiltrated by FARC dissidents.

“We reject the constant assemblies, acts of signaling advanced by public officials, members of the Public Force and members of the Democratic Center Party on alleged infiltrations of illegal armed groups in the Social and Community Minga, “the Indigenous Minga said in the statement.
According to information known this week, the intelligence organizations intercepted radio communications that warn about an infiltration of the FARC dissidents.

In the audios, according to intelligence officials, alias ‘Paisa’ says that he sent an emissary to the Minga: “I came with the political commission … I am going to send a delegate from here, did you hear? So that they are pending, he suddenly goes right because he does not know the way ”.
“The Minga rejects any manifestation of violence and therefore is emphatic in rejecting any pretense of links with armed actors in the country,” the communication indicates.

The organizations grouped in the Minga also indicated that the video that has circulated on social networks, in which hooded and armed people allegedly belong the ELN “does not represent or have an affinity with the Social and Community Minga for the Defense of Life.”
Finally, in the communiqué, the indigenous groups that move to Bogotá request accompaniment from the Attorney General’s Office, the Ombudsman’s Office, and human rights organizations.

The pronouncements by members of the Democratic Center had begun last week, when former President Álvaro Uribe pointed out that this demonstration has “A political objective: the socialist takeover of the State. The claims that are alleged do not matter to many promoters who invoke them only as convening factors.”
