Most of the photos that Amed Rodolfo Bayona Moncada, the man who accepted before the Cundinamarca Police that he had murdered his two children, 6 and 5 years old, published on his Facebook account, were precisely theirs.

“These two little angels are the engine of my life,” he wrote on April 15. This man, according to information known to EL TIEMPO, would have made the tragic decision for the breakdown of their romantic relationship with the mother of the little ones.
Days before the events, which occurred on October 14, he and the children had arrived in the municipality of Zipaquirá from the department of Meta. The economic situation was precarious, and the only possibility he obtained was the loan of a home in the San Jorge village, where he went with his little ones.
This subject was captured when he was about to arrive in the municipality of Cajicá, after committing the double crime.
The authorities reported that at the scene of the events they found several letters that the man had written explaining the emotional and financial situation he was experiencing, and clarifying that for this he had decided to kill himself.

The capture was achieved minutes after what happened on the road that connects the municipality of Zipaquirá with Cajicá. This citizen is a native of Bogotá, and was rooted in the town of Usme.
“This death of the children was caused by mechanical asphyxia, in which the father, who apparently is the alleged perpetrator of the homicide, took their lives. We invite the public to continue trusting in the institutions.
